Purple Milk is an indica dominant vigorous, candy-scented cultivar that stands out for its striking dark purple flowers and vigorous growth habits. This strain produces moderately dense, quarter-sized buds with a moderate leaf-to-calyx ratio and medium re-stacked calyxes that give the flowers a bulbous form. Long pistils create a distinctly “hairy” appearance, while trichome production is concentrated heavily on the buds, adding a frosted finish. The top cola typically develops as a 1–2 nodal structure with a loose disconnect beneath. This strain will often require extra support in late flower. In flower, Purple Milk demonstrates significant stretch, often tripling in size, with both high vertical and lateral growth that results in a bushy mid-canopy. This plant benefits from heavy bottoming to maintain airflow and reduce shading out in the lower mid canopy. Canopy density remains manageable but still requires hands-on pruning and defoliation. With moderate feeding and watering requirements, Purple Milk is considered an easy strain to grow. It will do well in any style of grow.
