Difficulty: Intermediate

Grow Type: Indoor, Light Dep
Mac N Jack is a vigorous strain, with a piercing candied oranges and “Jack” nose. This sativa dominant hybrid exhibits a high vertical stretch, typically tripling in size during flower, while producing exceptionally heavy lateral growth that fills out space quickly. The result is a dense, leafy canopy that demands attentive pruning and defoliation to maintain airflow and maximize light penetration. Structurally, Mac N Jack develops a 3–5 nodal top cola supported by an abundance of 2–4 nodal mini-colas along the secondary branches, creating a forest of uniform, resin-coated flower sites. The buds display a medium leaf-to-calyx ratio with moderate to large re-stacked calyxes, giving them a thick, sculpted appearance. Flowers mature in tones of lush green accented by subtle purple hues, and silvery trichomes. This strain has a moderate sturdiness, so staking and trellising is recommended to support the weight of the canopy. With its strong aroma, dense structure, and vigorous lateral push, Mac N Jack rewards growers who can keep up with its pace. This cultivar performs best in indoor or light-deprivation environments, where light cycles and climate can be precisely managed to complement its robust metabolism and heavy pruning requirements. Overall an intermediate strain to grow.
