Honey Banana

El Krem

Honey Boo x Strawberry Bananas

Hybrid

Flowering Time: 11 weeks

Difficulty: Difficult

Yield: Heavy

Grow Type: Indoor, Light Dep

Honey Banana is a vigorous, heavy yielding hybrid best known for its extreme nose. While in flower it smells like banana candies, and once fully cured it has a strong fresh baked banana bread smell. This strain consistently demonstrates a dramatic 3x stretch, surging in both vertical and lateral growth during early flower. Its canopy becomes extremely dense, demanding frequent pruning and defoliation to maintain airflow and prevent shading. The plant forms fully connected colas that run the entire length of the stem, creating impressive spears rather than segmented flower sites. With a medium leaf-to-calyx ratio and medium re-stacked calyx formation, the buds balance visual appeal with moderate ease of trimming. Sturdiness is only average, so training or support will be required to manage the heavy canopy. Highly demanding in both nutrient and water uptake, Honey Banana is a hungry feeder that thrives when given abundant inputs. Its true finishing potential is still somewhat unknown, as prior runs were taken earlier than the full 12-week maturity window. Based on current observations, this strain shows promise for experienced growers who can manage its vigorous metabolism, heavy pruning requirements, and long flower cycle. This strain is excellent for concentrates and is best suited for indoor and light-dep cultivation, as its long flowering time benefits from a controlled environment and adjustable light cycles.
