Gorilla Breath is an indica dominant strain that has dense, resin-soaked flowers and an unmistakably gassy nose. This strain develops a 4–5 nodal top cola with a tightly braided, disconnected structure, producing uniform golf ball–sized buds. The flowers are light green in color with a low leaf-to-calyx ratio, visible pistils, and exceptionally heavy trichome coverage that extends beyond the sugar leaves and out onto the fan leaves, giving the plant a frosted, crystalline appearance. During flower, Gorilla Breath demonstrates explosive growth, often tripling in size. Its canopy becomes very dense, demanding attentive hands-on management through pruning and defoliation to ensure airflow and light penetration. A heavy feeder and drinker, this strain thrives with an aggressive nutrient program. While the plant’s structure is vigorous, it tends to weaken under the weight of its dense buds late in flower, so additional support is recommended to prevent branches breaking. Best suited for intermediate to experienced cultivators, Gorilla Breath rewards attentive care with high-yielding, trichome-rich flowers that carry the pungent, fuel-driven aroma connoisseurs expect.
