Ego Checker

Ego Checker is a visually striking indica dominant, resin-heavy cultivar that rewards attentive growers with exceptionally dense, frosty flower. This plant exhibits a 3x stretch in flower with medium vertical growth and vigorous lateral branching, creating a broad, even canopy. It produces a 3–5 nodal top cola supported by an abundance of 2–4 nodal mini-colas, each maturing into tightly packed, bulbous buds. The flowers feature a low leaf-to-calyx ratio, enhancing both bag appeal and trim efficiency, while trichome coverage is abundant—giving the buds a glistening, crystalline appearance from early in bloom. Despite its manageable height, Ego Checker throws a large number of lateral branches, requiring consistent defoliation and bottoming to prevent shading and maintain strong airflow through the mid-canopy. Structurally, sturdiness is moderate, and while the colas are weighty, some extra support may be needed to keep branches upright through late flower.
