Clark Griswold is a towering strain with tons of vigor. This strain can triple in height during flower. It develops 3–5 nodal top colas and an abundance of 2–4 nodal mini-colas extending along the secondary branches. The colas form into long, spear-shaped colas with a medium leaf-to-calyx ratio and moderate re-stacked calyx development, resulting in well-balanced buds that are both visually appealing and manageable to trim. While the plant’s canopy density is moderate, its tall frame can cause the midsection to grow leafy and congested, requiring targeted defoliation to improve airflow and light penetration. Secondary branches benefit from support, as the plant’s height and bud weight can test its moderate sturdiness. Bottoming below the third node or more is recommended to focus energy on the productive upper canopy. Clark Griswold is a moderate uptaking strain in early flower then turns into a heavy uptaker through mid-late flower. It shows clear enthusiasm for higher EC nutrient programs, thriving when provided with consistent, balanced inputs. With its vigorous stretch, upright structure, and manageable canopy density, this cultivar is best suited for growers with adequate vertical space who can provide steady training and mid-canopy maintenance throughout flower.
