Kaprikorn's Description:

Amaretto Sour is a heavy yielding sativa dominant strain. This strain forms 5-7 connected nodal top colas with tons of secondary branching that forms 2-4 nodal mini colas beneath her tops. The buds are very dense with a moderate-high leaf to calyx ratio and moderately sized restacked calyxes. The buds are quarter sized with a heavy trichome production and have a mix of light and dark green hues throughout. This strain is vigorous and very vertical and lateral growing it will triple in size in flower. Multiple topping or scrogging training will help to keep it at a more manageable height. This strain has a dense canopy and fills out with tons of buds weighing her branches down. It is not a very sturdy strain, and it will require extra support. It is fairly easy to prune but defanning can be a laborious task as it is a very leafy strain. In our experience growing this strain it can be finicky in terms of feed it starts out as a moderate feeder then becomes a heavy feeder in mid-late flower. We have also seen this strain be susceptible to light burn. Overall, this is a more intermediate-difficult strain to grow and is best suited for more experienced growers. Best suited for indoor and light depped grows, but with proper techniques can be grown successfully full term outdoors.
